This program will certify an individual in the National Plasterers Council industry method of properly starting up the water chemistry and care of a newly surfaced swimming pool and/or spa. The course will cover five primary areas: The History and Chemistry of Swimming Pool Surfaces, Understanding Water Chemistry, Proper use of a Water Test Kit, Start-Up Procedures and Start-Up Problems and Solutions.

The course will conclude with an online test (75% is required to pass).  Certification is valid for three (3) years.

Prior to taking the online class, registrants will need to receive from NPC the following materials (please allow time for shipping):

Course Workbook, NPC Technical Manual, IPSSA Basic Training Manual and laminated Pool Start-up Card.
